How to Fine-Tune your LLM on Tweets! (large language models for investing)
Build your own sentiment analyzer!
Good morning fellow AI enthusiast! This week's iteration focuses on the last video on our series on training and fine-tuning your LLM built for the Gen AI 360 course with Towards AI and Activeloop !
In this one, we are transforming a generalist Large Language Model into a specialized financial expert using just a CPU!
We walk you through the fine-tuning process with a hands-on example of financial sentiment analysis through automatically analyzing and understanding tweets (or Xs now?). This is a powerful application to understand the population's mood over a specific topic. At least get whether it is primarily positive, negative, or neutral.
I also just want to note that you are still only analyzing the Twitter (X) sub-population. This does not represent the overall population with a clear bias for the type of person sharing online on Twitter.
Still, this is a very interesting and useful application and a great project to learn to fine-tune language models if you want to get more technical!
